What do you do around Xmas when you hear a knock on the door & the noisy silence of several people shuffling outside, ready to commit an aural assault? Lights off? Pretend to be out? Well maybe you should give them a chance; you don’t often hear a year summed up like this…
This is a humorous complimentary poem written for ‘Wilkin's Jams of Tiptree’, narrated over an accompaniment also composed & performed by myself. The poem was so well received at their event that the chairman subsequently requested a personal copy.
